MAJOR PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

 

 

Projects undertaken at Unlimited Software Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal:

  • Developed first Nepali Opentype Font (OTF) with Nepali Keyboard Layout Driver for Windows 2000. Used open type font development like MS VOLT, Adobe Opentype FDK, Macromedia Fontographer, High-Logic Font Creater and used MS DDK for keyboard driver.
  • Developed 3 tire Client / Server based Data Entry Project for Star Point Cards Sales Company, UK using Visual Basic for front end and middle tire, and MS Access as backend database.
  • Developed all Nepal School Database System of year 2000 A.D. for His Majesty the Government of Nepal, Education Ministry, funded by Daneida, using MS SQL Server as backend database and Visual Basic as front end interface with hundreds of reports using Crystal Report 8.5 and MS Data Report.
  • Developed database system for Capacity Assessment Survey - carried out by Organization Development Centre (ODC), using MS SQL Server as backend database and Visual Basic as front end interface.
  • Developed ISP Billing Software for Remote Access Service (RAS) Server, using MS Visual Basic 6 and MS Access as database for Unlimited Software, Kathmandu, Nepal.

 

Project undertaken at Melamchi Water Supply Project, Nepal:

  • Developed of official website at http://www.melamchiwater.org
  • Installed, configured and administered the network system of the project head office building based on Windows 2000 server, which include,
    • Configuration of Active Directory
    • Configuration of DNS
    • Configuration of DHCP
    • Configuration of User rights and security
    • Configuration of Email server with MDaemon 6.
    • Configuration of IIS 5 Web server.
    • Configuration of File Server.
    • Configuration of Data Server with MS SQL Server.
    • Configuration of Proxy Server for Internet.
  • Developed of Project Management Information System. Visual Basic was used for the development of front end interface of data entry and data management tools, and MS SQL Server as backend database with online and offline access to the each components. Some of the components of the project were:
    • Online management of various project documents in various formats (like MS Word, MS Access, MS Powerpoint, AutoCad Drawing, Adobe PDF, JPEG images, etc) with MS SQL Server as database and ASP as front end web interface.
    • Land compensation form entry and reporting software.
    • Library system.
    • Project photographs management software with reporting on the Web and MS Word.
    • Budget management software with reporting in MS Excel.
    • Software for water level calculation.
    • Software for household survey form entry and reporting.
    • Software for weekly minutes management and make report in MS Word and Web.
    • Software for monthly report management and generate report in MS Word and Web.
    • Software for annual report management and generate report in MS Word and Web.
    • Software for monitoring incoming and outgoing transmittal transaction documents.

 

Other projects undertaken:

  • Developed web-site for Ayurvedic Clinic, Piyushbarshi Aushadhalaya, Kathmandu, Nepal at http://www.ayurvedicclinic.net, 1998.
  • Designed 3D Animation for Visit Nepal 98 program, using 3D Studio Max, 1998.
  • Worked with CGI project as 3rd Year undergraduate project work at Kathmandu University including web-based e-mail client, web-based ftp client, web-based chat room, web based notice board, using ASP and PHP with CSS, Javascript for dynamic web pages, 2000.
  • Developed web-site for Kathmandu University Spring 97 Batch Alumini, 2000.
  • Developed data entry and report generating tool for Warun Laboratory Report, Kathmandu, Nepal using Microsoft Access Programming, 2001.
  • Web-site developed for classified advertisement on the Internet at http://www.bigyapan4u.com. This web-site is very unique with complete language selection option to view the pages in both Nepali and English language with the use of font embedding technology, 2001.
  • Cyber Café Billing system for Nabin Cyber World, Kathmandu, Nepal, using Visual Basic 6 with MS Access as Database system, 2002
  • Accounting Software for Milan Cooperative Co. Ltd., Kathmandu Nepal using MS Visual Basic 6 for front end interface and MS SQL Server as backend database with reporting in VS View reporting tool, 2002
  • Web-site http://www.bajracharya.org, volunteer website development for Bajracharya Community, with free email, free e-cards, free chat room, free software download etc, using PHP and MYSQL, 2002
  • Nepali Time Machine Version 2002, first Nepali time and date monitoring software with past and future Nepali calendar based on lunar calendar for Windows platform, using MS Visual Basic 6, available for free download from http://download.bajracharya.org, 2002.
  • Rate Analysis Software for civil construction cost estimation for MEH Consultants, Kathmandu, Nepal, using MS Visual Basic 6 and MS Access as database with reporting in VS View, 2002.
